NMS2S connection

Replace an expired or refused state token

Restore the connection and verify a fresh source read before resuming work.

For owners and admins · Reviewed September 9, 2026

Before you start

  • Check for active sublot jobs and record their status.
  • Obtain a fresh token from the authorized state identity.

Where to click

  1. 1Settings > State
  2. 2Paste the state token
  3. 3Connect to state
  4. 4Facilities
  5. 5Recent jobs
Illustrated navigation sequence. Exact controls appear in the numbered instructions below.

Step-by-step instructions

  1. 1Settings > State

Review Token status and Last rotated. Save safe error text and the time for your own investigation.

  2. 2Paste the state token

Paste only the new authTokenGUID value. Never reuse a copied full URL.

  3. 3Connect to state

Submit once and wait for confirmation. A successful token rotation does not repeat any inventory mutation.

  4. 4Facilities

Check the imported location identifiers and subsequent run times.

  5. 5Recent jobs

Before resuming a split, inspect the recorded child outcomes. Reconcile an uncertain request rather than creating a new job.

What success looks like

The token status is ok and new reads succeed. Historical sublot jobs retain their original outcomes.

If something goes wrong

Still refused

Confirm the NMS2S identity is active and authorized. Stop after repeated failure and send support the safe status, not the token.

Inventory is still old

Token acceptance and report freshness are separate. Check the inventory run and its error after rotation.
