Step-by-step instructions
1Stock mode
Choose roll or sheet. Roll output uses one label position per page. Sheet output fills positions left to right.
2Width and height
Enter physical dimensions in millimeters. Convert inches by multiplying by 25.4. For example, 4 by 6 inches is 101.6 by 152.4 millimeters.
3Margins
Allow for the printer non-printable edge. The chosen margin is part of layout validation, not a promise about a particular driver.
4Sheet dimensions and gap
For sheet mode, enter the full sheet dimensions and spacing between positions. Make sure the label fits within the sheet margins.
5Validate
If required text does not fit, choose more area or reposition the QR. The engine does not quietly shrink or truncate required information.
6Physical proof
Print one sample at actual size. Measure it and compare its alignment against the media before printing the full batch.
The PDF dimensions match the configured stock and all required content fits within the validated layout.
If something goes wrong
The printer scales the PDF
Disable Fit, Shrink oversized pages and similar driver options. Select 100% or Actual size.
A small label is rejected
The current template enforces minimum supported dimensions and content fit. A custom size is not an exemption from adopted rules.
